OPERATION COZY BEAR

Operation Cozy Bear brings yoga, cozy care tips, and cozy bears in a wellness workshop format to people  who are healing from abuse. Bodacious Living & Lightworks Creative developed this outreach program to provide tools and inspiration to empower a pathway from abuse to wholeness. We have teamed up with Wings of Love International, Inc an non-profit foundation passionately empowering, educating and inspiring a pathway from abuse to emotional health, wholeness, and abundance.

Cozy Bears will be given to recipients along with a “cozy care card” which has self care tools to inspire a bodacious life. As we distribute bears we will be sharing the experience of yoga, connection with breath, meditation, free form movement, hugs and teachings about  self care tools with recipients.

Although the bears do not replace human compassion and touch, they do represent unconditional love, act as reminders to access tools to self soothe, and fill in the gaps between human or animal hugs. Affection and comfort with the bears will increase the receptivity to human hugs and comfort.

We will provide you will all the tools you need to spread the word, inspire donations and head up this outreach program in your surrounding area. This is a fun way to inspire others, collaborate with friends, and touch lives. 

 

 COZY BEAR WISH LIST:

We are in need of more bears, funds to cover printing and shipping costs,  and more volunteers to head up “cozy crews” and to distribute bearS. Financial donations will be used to cover the costs and purchase of more Cozy Bears to distribute. All donations are tax deductible.
